- When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will: - check online banking
- update spreadsheets
- storecupboard meals
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- go for swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
- not use car
- try and have a no spend day
- make DD some flpjacks in remosk
Running late for work so will have to catch up with you all later.:p

Morning Sophiesmum and all who follow!
Faymck We had a glass shower screen and it was horrible! Needed constant cleaning. We eventually went back to a curtain! Hope your cold gets better soon - lots about at the moment.
Its freezing and damp here so am going to try not to go out till later when little boy goes to Nursery! So I have no excuse not to get lots done. So heres my list for today:
* Washing drying on radiators
* Clean kitchen cupboard doors
* Sort out food cupboard (all my spaghetti fell out yesterday...am sure I've still got bits impaled in my head :rotfl: ) so can use up stuff running out of date soon
* Wash shower curtain (reminded by faymck mentioning showers!)
* Check on-line banking
* Order OH's vouchers for birthday on line - saves paying for parking in town
* Do competitions
* Pay a bill
* Going for coffee tonight with friend - I paid last time so she's paying this time (will try not to buy anything in borders while I'm there!!;)
All I can think of for now!
Have good days all
Miss P
xx

Morning All :hello:
Fayjmck, there are often shower screens on our freecycle
must be to do with the pain of cleaning them? Anyway we have a squeegee in our shower and I've trained our guys to squeegee it after use. (It speeds them up too, no-one wants to be the last to shower
) DS2 experimented while we were away and didn't use the Squeegee and boy did it show, I caught him out straight away! (his wounds will heal I'm sure, given time)
Mrs Audi2b, good luck
Miss Piggy nice hair decorations
:rotfl:
Nicknoo08, he's a man -you're going to have to SPELL IT OUT
MBaz - I've got to ask...........
So today I have/will- brought in lunch
- only spend 20p at rehearsal (apart from the chocolate bar I had to have for brekkie
) - usual piggy clicks etc. BooHoo to Juicy Brains which is closing and you can only extract multiples of £5 and I have £3.50.....
- not go on-line shopping at lunchtime

mbaz - I saw your other post, that is really unfair, I hope you get somewhere with Halifax and get through their arrogant way of communicating without doing yourself a damage.
...and good morning to all the rest of you too!
Feeling too fed up to do anything, this all seems so hard today - I should feel great I've got my A&L down to below £3k through the payment a day (can't do it at the moment because I messed up the budget this month). And I just can't get the motivation to ebay and this is the only way of getting income to pay off the debts.....
Come on guys, kick my butt please, you're all my virtual friends pull me back on track

seeing as i'm starting to feel betta will be posting items on ebay to sell checking out amazon as have loads of books ...
is it best to use amazon instead of ebay to sell books anyone any experience on that one ...
