not sure if anyone booked a Travelodge in the end Pepe (if that is what you were asking) - the Central one was the one I would have chosen, but there were no cheap rooms - around £60 per night and Ancoat was the same.

I'm holding on for a few more weeks and then will use the HotelClub trick again to get 2x £25 off somewhere - can't see getting it cheap as Leeds though!

I'm bummed as even Travelodge Oldham 6 miles away has gone up to £39 from £9... but then i knew that would happen! Just didn't want to be the only MSE-er trying to get back to the M6 somewhere when everyone else was based in town.....

BB - you'll have to explain the hotel club thing to me again....

thanks BB, I'll keep an eye out...rather stay somewhere decent than a box with a cr*p bed for £60!
