TV-video combi not recording sound

Help, I've been given a TV-video combi, but it's not recording sound.

It's a 14" Bush one, currently connected to a dvd player and freeview box and is working perfectly apart from that. I wondered if there was an obvious (or not) solution or suggestions.

Thanks

Diva:)

  • I take it that the combi video player plays back properly recorded video tapes with sound ok.

The fault possibly lies somewhere around the audio head drive electronic circuitry. Probably cost more to repair than to buy a new separate video recorder for £40
