I've just bought a turkey crown stuffed with sage stuffing in a roasty bag with a slab of welsh butter from a local butcher with an excellent reputation. I was queueing this a.m to pick it up out in the road, it was so busy!
We're having turkey, bacon wrapped chipolatas, roast potatoes, sprouts(yum!), roast carrots, onion & parsnips, peas,broccolli,swede. yorkshire pud,gravy & cranberry sauce with claret.I'm having nut roast, veg gravy plus all of the above minus the meat .
We always walk the dogs after and never have pudding until a few hours later!0 -
I am cooking beef and yorkshire pud
veggies will be roast tatoes; brussel sprouts stir fried with garlic, shallots and hoi sin sauce; red cabbage and cranberries; parmesan roast parsnips.0 -
Roast Chicken & Roast Lamb, Roast spuds, mash, roast parsnips, HM yorkies, stuffing, pig in blankets, buttered sprouts and chestnuts, carrots and mint, swede/carrot mash, cauliflower and gravy.

I do both roast and mash, but thats only because boyf prefers mash and I prefer roasts, he has 1 roast and a big dollop of mash, I have a spoon of mash and loads of roasts!
My veg will be long stem broccoli, roast parsnips, cauliflower and green beans. All my faves on one plate - im so excited! Stuffing, sausages wrapped in bacon and Gravy too, plus a jar of mayonnaise for boyf. He wont eat anything without the stuff!

We'll be having roast spuds & parsnips, carrots roasted with garlic & rosemary, mashed swede, sprouts and brocolli. Stuffing wise, Cranberry & chestnut (Paxo) as well as homemade bread & onion stuffing. We're having roast turkey, roast pork and "pigs in blankets"! :xmassign:0

our local radio station has been running quite a funny phone in poll each day "legume of two halves" for veggies to battle it out onto our plates for Christmas Day. it should have been a mushroom versus leek final (the sprouts were knocked out in the semi final to the mushrooms), but there was a shock re-instatement in the final for the sprouts for a 3 way match........the result was (and you can see where your favourites fell through the rounds!!!!).....
