why does everyone appear to be against IVAs?

IVAs arent for everyone. Normally they are for those whose job prevents bankruptcy or for those with assets to protect. However for me it felt the moral thing to do. It may sound strange for someone who has whiddled his way out of 50% of his debt but I wanted to repay what I could. Unfortunately I had been able to get myself into a debt position that was impossible to work my way out of but as least an IVA option went someway to me paying back what I could.
By the way I'm with Payplan and I couldnt promote them enough. Theres been a few times where I've struggled with payments and they've allowed me to postpone payments. Very flexible and really there to support me when I've needed it.Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345 :eek: :eek: :eek:
Debt free 21st Oct 2011.
