Never Never Never Give A Website Your Bank Details"An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -
About 2 yrs ago I used iammoving.com for the utility bills, pensions, council tax, tv license etc - all the mundane stuff - but not banks or building societies.
I would definitely use again, it was so easy & hiccup-free.0 -
it is a kosher website, though I found it painful to use.
After spending ages entering details for loads of things, for most entries it prints a standard letter that I could have done in half the time.
Unless you both use it separately, your details will be sent off as all belonging to one person, totally confusing those you are notifying.
It tells you that it has notified the DVLA for you. The only legal way of changing a drving licence address is by using the correct form from the Post Office.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. Same as Silvercar.
Most companies have a process that you have to follow to change your address.
Some companies I sent the iammoving letters to sent me back a form to complete.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

It is a legit service and, IIRC, was something to do with Royal Mail at one point. They do not sell your details on or use it for marketing etc. I would not personally have a problem with using it to notify my bank of a move, but that would be a personal decision.
As has been said, issue has been that they have a limited (but growing) list of notifications that can be done online and sometimes resorts to producing letters for you.
The main use I (and some of my customers had) was the fact that its list is so comprehensive that it reminds you to contact everyone and ensures that you don't miss anyone.
Worth using. To what extent is up to you.I am an IFA (and boss o' t'swings idst)You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an IFA, so you need to take my word for it.
