liverpool parking

Staying in Liverpool last weekend in November at Adephi hotel in the centre. Anybody know of any cheap long stay car parks (4 nights) nearby and also any other suggestions for a cultural weekend!

There are a number of cheap (poss illegal?!) car parks doing all day for a fiver type offers - they're around the ring road, and near Lime St station mainly.
There's no Park and Ride in Liverpool (grrr - really should be, as it's very pedestrianised).
Try the Tate on the docks for a free afternoon (although some exhibitions cost), the Walker Art Gallery (near Lime St), the Liverpool World Museum (particularly if you have kids - they have an aquarium and all sorts), which has been recently refusrbished and is brilliantly curated, maybe head to Port Sunlight (accessible by Merseyrail - but they don't call it Miseryrail for nothing..., or you can drive), for the Lady Lever art gallery, Chester for an afternoon in a beautiful city with the most amazing high street in the UK (IMHO) complete with minstrel's gallery.
I believe you can also tour the basement of St George's Hall (opposite Lime St station), which is supposed to be very interesting.
Otherwise, if you want real culture - go somewhere else...LOL ;)
:grin:If at first you don't succeed, then sky-diving isn't for you
