Hi guys, I am really rubbish at all things techie and have come to ask advice!!! hehe!!
I'm doing an Open University course which involves speaking and listening via the internet and the OU's programme Lyceum.
I bought myself a set of headphones and mic at the weekend and have tried to use them now and I have no sound at all coming out of the headphones. Yet when I take the headphones out of the Lapto, sound is heard fine through the speakers. Any ideas what is going on>??
Cheers

Hi gerturdeanna,
Are the mic and headphones all one unit (like a headset)?
How do they connect to the laptop - USB or audio jack (like normal headphones)?
If it is a USB headset - did it come with a disk or any software, if so did you install it/did it install properly?

Hi Rinko,
Its just connected via an audio jack like normal headphones. There are a pick and a green jack which I have corresponed correctly on the laptop!!
No disc or anything included in the pack.

easily done - was going to suggest that the volume control wasnt muted - but well done for spotting it . :TDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
