Is this a self employed job ?0

No, it is not self-employed. You are employed by Teletech, but working from home. You are connected to their mainframe. Customers phone a central number and calls get diverted to your home (and others). You take the call and answer the query. Sometimes you need to escalate the call to another department but this is all explained to you in training, and so it goes on until the end of your shift. You pay tax and NI as per any normal job.fedupwiththeworry wrote: »Is this a self employed job ?
Shift pattern is determined by what hours you said you could work at signing up, and by what hours you are allocated by Teletech. Do not bank on doing a 40 hour week. It does not happen. I think the most hours allowed is 20, but no doubt someone will confirm this.0 -

What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
