Dont know if this is strickly 'techie' or should be in cleaning section.
How do I clean my laptop screen? Bought some, not cheap, alcohol wipes supposedly for the purpose but they've left the screen all streaky. What do other people use?
Thanks :rudolf:

I use babywipes and they are fine, non scented.0

Slightly damp microfibre cloth. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Damp microfibre cloth, definitely! Nothing better
(you can also use it to clean the laptop casing, streak-free)0 -
Yep, a BARELY damp microfibre cloth works for me!0

isopropyl alcohol is a good cleaner, but you need to wipe it dry with a lint free/vileda style cloth immediately, to avoid the streaks.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

thanks folks have tried the micro fibre and works brilliantly. Wish Id asked this before forking out over £3 for wipes that will probably dry out before I use them all. : )0
