Flights to Phoenx/Vegas - Summer 2009

Hi All

I head to Phoenix/Vegas every summer. I've just checked flights on AA.com for June/July 2009 and they are pretty cheap right now (c £450) and I have found a flight which is cheaper than I paid last year (even when I used the mastercard offer discount!).

So I'm thinking about just going for it as I wouldn't expect it to get any cheaper (although perhaps if anyone knows different they can let me know!).

My question is, is anyone aware of any offers (similar eg to the mastercard deal last year) that could help me get even more money off? I would prefer to fly AA as I love them but would consider other airlines if it would be cheaper!!

Any advice appreciated
Thanks

bairn7

    Sounds pretty darn good.

  • KLM are fairly cheap although I hear mixed reviews about the airline, i'm flying to Phoenix next week and flying with NWA who I have flew with before and I find the flights perfectly fine & would imagine they would cheaper than AA easily. Otherwise trying www.orbitz.com for summer 2009
  • Yayy someone else who loves AA, I booked them for my holiday to america next year, doing LHR to JFK Business Class, JFK to MCO First, Them to MCO to Fort Worth, Fort Worth to Vegas, Vegas to miami and then Miami to key west, key west to miami, miami to MCO, MCO to JFK, JFK Home whooo now how is that for a trip, yes im getting about next year lol, and yeah I would book now, dont forget AA have the low fare guarentee so if the price did drop by loads they would deducted a fee and give you the diffrence, but if they went up, you pay no more extra, bargin, book now

Hehe yeah there's no other airline I'd rather fly to the US with..have been with Lufthansa, KLM and Continental and none compare for me!

Re the low fare guarantee, I was under the impression that this only applied for if you found a cheaper deal within 24 hours of booking. Can someone clarify this?
  • Ok i was wrong about the price fare guarentee I should learn to read lol, still AA are cool, I only fly these as well when I go to America
