I have paid but PayPal payment unclaimed by seller

I won an item on Monday night and paid straightaway.
The payment is still showing as "unclaimed" in my PayPal account. The seller is a relative newbie and has emailed me saying she doesn't know how to claim the funds. It is so long ago that I set up my PayPal account that I can't remember either.
Do you think it's something to do with the verification process?
Any advice appreciated.
TIA

Hi
Tell her to log into her paypal account to claim it.
It may be she needs to upgrade her account.
If she does it will tell her how towhen she logs in.

if you paid by debit/credit card then she will need to upgrade her paypal account to accept these payments, Democracy is a process by which the people are free to choose the man who will get the blame.:j0

She should actually have recieved an e-mail advising her she needs to upgrade to accept the payment. If she follows the instructions in this e-mail it's relatively easy. (But now she'll have to pay fees of course)It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
Thanks for your replies. I did actually wonder if she had a PayPal account in the first place. I have now cancelled the payment and sent her a cheque!Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0
