Grass Protection Mesh - instead of drive. Where from? Any Good?

We are looking for some Grass Protection Mesh to lay instead of digging the lawn out for a drive - especially this time of year as I am rutting the lawn when I drive the car onto it.

Any ideas of the best place to get this from please? Has anyone else used this with good effect?

Thanks

Just came across this whilst flicking through latest screwfix brochure.

for 19.81square metres it works out about £14.90 per square metre so quite pricey. I suspect if you shop around you can get cheaper but gives you a starting point i hope

the best product is called grasscrete - and it needs a bit of installation - but is long lasting and will take a lot more weight than some of the cheaper products.

Thanks, yes, I had seen these option, they need the grass digging out and to be honest, if we are going to do that then we might as well gravel it and just get it over and done with, but we do not have the time to do it and my front lawn just has nowhere left to drain. This is a new house and we did not know that the lawn would be like this, we need a quick fix for now so the lawn does not get trashed (or the car sink, LOL). The minute I pull off the drive the car slides and it is more to protect the car and lawn as it is turning into a bit of a mud bath right now with all this rain.

The ones we have seen you just roll over and then pin:

I wanted to know if anyone else had used this. It is an absolute nightmare, there is only room for the one car and there is a huge mound of earth that will need taking out by a digger to turn it into a 'proper' drive. I do not take the car out that much really and it'll not be driven over a great deal and I only have my small car to park on it. What do you think?
