Hi,
Did anyone get debenhams site to work? I got through but seems to crash at the basket page.

Back up again but so slow you might as well go and make a cup of tea in between pages updating.That really is a poor website for a large company like them.They were scheduled to be up and running at 8am and at 1pm I gave up with the site and went to the store.

The pages dont seem to bad loading up, but out of all the items of clothing i tried to buy not 1 of them was in stock in my size. Several items were out of stock in all sizes. Ive decided to give up.
So as a word of warning dont get to excited when you see the reductions as they probably wont have them in stock. Good luck though to you all.

hi all

when i processed my order i had 9 items in my basket (it didnt state anything was out of stock and i have not had any out of stock e-mails from them since) - but when i got the order only had 4 items instead of 9 ??? Also, does not state the total amount i will be charged just a list of the 4 items and thats it. Has anyone else experienced this problem please ? I dont even know of the £5 off £30 spend is now valid ..

any comments ?

Hi Bubbles. When you say 'got the order' do you mean the order confirmation e-mail that Debenhams send you? If so, don't panic just yet - Debenhams have one of the strangest stock systems I have ever seen! Many items are allocated to different departments (Wedding, Fashion, Home or Gifts, etc) and confirmation comes separately from these areas. For example, in November I ordered several items of clothing and some toys for Christmas: my first confirmation e-mail (from Gifts & Fashion) only showed 2 items of clothing and one toy. Three days later, I received another e-mail from Debenhams (can't remember which department) confirming my order for the remaining items. Very strange, but I did eventually get everything I had ordered, albeit 10 days delivery apart.
