sticking glass table top to metal frame

Bought a glass table with a metal frame from IKEA at the weekend, got it at bargain corner and it was a bargain but..... Only problem is that the glass top was sat on little pads which in the store looked like little sucker pad but turned out to be clear sticky pads and oddly none of them are sticky.

Thought I had see these sorts of pad at B&Q but they dont have them, any idea where I can get them, really need to be clear so they dont stand out.

we have a glass table with a metal frame and ours just sits on these non sticky pads. When we bought the table about 6 years ago they were suction pads but over the years they have flattened out so much there's no suction left, perhaps this is what has happened? Providing you don't move the table they should be ok, when our table needs moving we just push from the bottom, but I think you should do that anyway even with suction pads attached.

Foget worrying about the suction pads - it's the cleaning of a glass table you should be worrying about - it's a nightmare!!!! :eek:

The trouble is that the pads dont hold the glass so it can be pushed off, think we will try the glass bond.

try getting pads the same colour as the frame
