Shell Mastercard / Shell Driver's Club change

Stopped at a Service Station over the weekend and noticed a laminated card on the counter specifying that there was a change to the t&c's of the Driver's Club from 28th Nov.

Said something along the lines of where they can identify that the Shell Driver's club member is also a Shell Mastercard holder they reserve the right to apply your Driver's Club rebate to your Mastercard.

Can't find any more details anyone else seen something on this?

I'll keep my eyes out for this - I have both drviers club and their credit card.

I use 2 local Shell garages, and I've noticed that 1 is fine, the other isn't.

It seems dependant on who is on the counter, they "pretend" that their machine isn't accepting the Shell credit card if they spot you with other cards in your wallet. So, I've got in the habit of extracting my cards before I even get out of the car and since had no problems. Must be because the garage takes some of the financial hit of the cashback?
