How can I get rid of a curry stain on lino that bleach won't remove?

Eek! I have just noticed a big curry stain on the lino floor of the kitchen in the flat we rent.

I have tried putting bleach on it and cif but it is not budging.
What can I use to get rid of it?

What are they and where can I get them?
  • How about nail varnish remover. Make sure you test it on a hidden area in case it makes matters worse.

You might get more help on Old STyle board.

Stardrops is a very cheap but very amazing multi-purpose cleaner. Should be able to find at most supermarkets.
  • i had a simalr stain on my old lino and perminant pen too (dont ask it was the kids) i tried everything, bleach included..then i got some astonish paste and tried it and it worked! its really safe too. if you cant find astonish paste then try 'barkeepers friend' its pretty much the same thing but in poweder form. no strong chemicals..really safe and easy to use.
