My firefox has gone wonky
when I switch it on it comes up with an alert
"THE URL IS NOT VALID AND CANNOT BE LOADED"
and I cant do anything with it except close down
can someone help me please

Have you tried clicking the firefox refresh button?

clicking the refresh button ,,,,I cannot do as the alert wont go away
it is now flashing ,the whole page
wont do anything
not even close
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it is still there
good job I have IE but I would rather have FF

It is still flashing and I cant close it now ,,had to close the whole machine down just now
speeddial still comes up as homepage

SpeedDial is a Firefox add on which allows you to quickly access "favourite" websites.
I suggest you disable this if it's causing the problem, in Firefox: Tools>Add-ons and disable it.
The set your homepage to blank, from the Tools > Options > Main tab.0 -
start up firefox in SAFE firefox mode (goto start, then programs)
do as isofa says if it works in safe mode as one of the addons has made it go all 'wonky':idea:0 -
