Money is scarce and times are hard,
So I'm giving you this, instead of a card.
Christmas cards are a bit of a farce,
But this will be handy, for wiping your .... nose!

    Or .....

I bought this little gift for you,
    I thought it was unique.
I bet you can't guess what it is,
    So trendy and so chic.
You'll never get caught short again,
Now that you have this chum.
    He's 'Charmin' and he's funny,
And he'll help you wipe your ... nose!
A creative mess is better than tidy idleness :D

Does anyone have a "guardian angel" poem please? I have a friend who is going to live in Israel, in a week's time. I've got her a little glass angel , but can't think of a poem. I know how clever you girls are, been reading on here for months!
  • I know you like to take a bath to chill out unwind and relax,
So I thought I’d go to Boots to get a bubble bath pack,
But alas, too late, it was Christmas Eve, not a sales assistant working, not even Steve,
By then I’d decided you deserved a treat for your self,
Because a long bubble bath is good for you health,
But a bath with no bubbles is no good for you
So I popped to Tescos to see what I could do
And sitting on a shelf in all its glory,
Was the solution to my problem and now I’ll end my story
A relaxing bubble bath is such a breeze,
If you Just follow these simple instructions please,
open the can, and pour on to your plate
eat the contents, run a bath and sit and wait
about half an hour , then your stomach shall feel the wrath,
and you shall have yourself an ALL NATURAL BUBBLE BATH

Gift – Tin of beans with a gift tag attached

  • Does anyone have a little verse that could go on a card box?

I am filling (shoebox) size boxes with home made decoupage cards which will be suitable to dip into all year round, and would love a little ditty to put on the lid.

    Many thanks in anticipation

    Hiya,

I've made up some "Girls night in" packs for my sisters & best friend comprising of a DVD, face pack, nail varnish & file set, chocs, & a bath fizzer, but was wondering if any of you clever people out there could think of a nice (but not too cheesey/slushy!) poem to go in there to sort of "explain" it? I'm not 100% sure they will get it otherwise & will wonder why I've made up these boxes of "random" stuff lol.

    TIA!

I have a few Valentine ones, bit early I know lol

    tulips in the garden
    tulips in the park
but the tulips i like best
are your two lips in the dark

    a ring is round
    a bed is square
    and in that bed
    we'll make a pair

we tried it on the sofa
we tried it on the stair
we tried it on the windowsill-
    we couldn't do it there!
I know just what you're thinking
and it really makes me laugh
'cause all I tried to do was take your photograph
