Unwell Cat?

Hi
I have an 8 year old female moggie. She has long had a problem with her eye which the Vet thinks may be some kind of allergy. It weeps all the time and gets a little bloody.
However, her other eye seems to becoming affected in the last few days with identical symptoms. She also sneezed 12 time in a row thos morning and, thinking back, she has been sneezing quite a bit recently.
She seems otherwise well, is eating and drinking normally, although she is a little more clingy at the moment.
I have just changed brands of cat litter and will now certainly change back immediately in case this is exacerbating the problem.
Any suggestions as to what this might be? Wondering whether or not to get her to the vet. She was a feral and is almost impossible to get into a cat carrier on my own, although I obviously will if she really does need the vet.
Any suggestions/advice welcomed.
Thank you.

One of my kittens currently has weeping eyes and sneezes, it's a reaction to her second vaccs. It could be conjuntivitus or could be from the new litter or has something in her eye so I'd get her to the vet for treatment and please don't take any advice from here to treat yourself.0

Thank you for taking the time to respond Kimberley. I have really made my mind up to take her, I just wanted someone elses take on it.
As I say, the eye problem has been on-going for several years, but what is going on now seems a little differentI must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break

When I took my kitten for her check up they did say if it's Clamydia (is that how you spell it) it could be recurrent throughout her life. Hope you get it sorted out, it is horrible to look at.0

i have a torty cat who has an 'intermittent' eye problem - ie. they always weep a bit, but sometimes worse than others. she also has a bit of a skin condition.
we have discussed it with several vets over the years and tried several 'treatments' and food types, but we now just try and manage it - i clean and dry her eyes every so often.
i have been told that it isn't uncommon with torty cats but who knows?
also re. sneezing - the eyes are sort of connected to the nasal passages and so the two could be connected.
as you say, take her to the vets just to be sure. hope she is ok x0
