offered temporary part time job

Hi there wondered if any one could help me
I am currently on IS and waiting to hear back about a new job in the New Year however in the meantime I have been offered a temporary part time job (15 hrs pw for the next three weeks). Would I still be entitled to any IS, Housing Benefit and Council Tax benefit. Basically is it worth my while taking this job if I have to reapply for all the above again in three weeks time. Also I wouldn't be getting paid for the work until I finish the job as they only pay monthly

Comments

  • I think you would be allowed £20/week from the part-time job and still be able to claim IS HB and council tax benefit, but someone who knows will be along to help soon.
