    Sainsburys basics one is great and as mgardner said 4p a jar

    Tesco value was 4p then at my store went to 9p 125 % increase overnight. So off i tootled to Sainsburys and bought 10 jars.

    They are great to add your over chicken too or even on chips for a very quick meal.

    Tesco have a value sweet and sour sauce too thats nice. I think that was 26p last time i bought a few tins.

    Definitely make a big batch when you have the time and freeze, no contest your HM will be miles better. BUT keep a couple of jars of Sainsburys in the cupboard for when you run out and in a rush and need something NOW!! Mr. T's 4p sauce is now 27p in my store, they can keep it. at 4p it was just about okay for chip dipping (ok disgusting I know but only once in a blue moon) at 27p its way overpriced!!
