Hi RBS have changed the website so much over the last few days that I can't even find what they are quoting as their SVR. they are offering no offest / tracker or indeed any flexible mortgages at all. Fixed only!!!!
Anyone know what is happening to the SVR??

The offset has been suspended to new clients.0

Since the government has disallowed any profits from flexible, tracker or offset mortgages, they have been withdrawn.
Hardly suprising now, is it?[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Rise like Lions after slumber

Does this mean if you have an existing RBS offset mortgage that you will get the 1.5% rate cut or is this just for some of their other mortgages? Thanks (Sorry I'm not clear whether it comes under SVR or not (I'm not that technical lol) I haven't been able to find anything)0

Glad you asked this !! I haven't been able to find anything about it in writing yet - they seem to treat offsets slightly differently from other mortgages when it somes to rate reductions. I'm deffo hoping that it will be down to 4.45%0 -

Wow ...how have you managed this?
I have spoken to Natwest three times about my offset mortgage and they are adamant that the rate is definately not being reduced from 6.45%.0
