I am loking at a laptop online and it has 15.4" screen but says "notebook" I know netbook is the really small ones but can someone tell me the difference between a notebook and laptop? TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T

It is (allegedly) because they get so hot underneath now that you shouldn't keep them on your lap so they moved to the term notebook.0

yes when my laptop overheated and kept turning off I rang the helpline and they told me 'you shouldn't have been using in on your lap it makes them overheat' I said 'its a laptop' and the reply was, 'no its a notebook' grrrrrrrr! I take it the new name is the get out clause!0

One wat to use it more safely on your lap is to buy one of those lap trays. It is a tray (designed for food) which has a beanbag sewn on to the bottom of it that way the notebook is sitting on a hard surface and has the airflow it needs.0
