LG The chicken should be fine, I buy those ready cooked ones all the time and reheat/recook the leftovers....they only put that on to cover themselves. Enjoy.

I meant to say earlier:- welcome new people :hello:

AnW'smum good idea about the pressie lists, I've got stuff all over the place and I like to be clear in my head what I've got and for who, there's lots of little bags with bits of stuff in and it annoys me lol

    I'm tired now......*yawn*

:hello:Hi dusty! I was just thinking this afternoon that I hadn't seen you today! I was thinking of you because I took advantage of the sunshine, and spent a couple of hours in the greenhouse. I got rid of all the summer tomatoes, chillies and aubergines, swept and dusted, and then put in all the tender plants that spent the summer standing outside. Now I want to see if I can find some small ferns, ivies and some bulbs in the garden centre, so I can have something to cheer me up in January and February.

    Has anyone seen Flower today?

Hugs to lil_me and your DS. Hope you all feel better soon.

embb - interested to read that your DS has his EMA. My DS has not had any yet, and I've been paying it for him, so he owes me loads! DD has only just had the letter confirming she will get some - I've been paying hers too. Christmas bonus for me I reckon! You'd think after the SAT disaster that the Govt would have learned their lesson about using US firms to do stuff over here. There was an article in the Times Ed, saying that the claims were three weeks behind - I don't think so! DD's claim was sent during the summer holiday,. and we only heard last week.

serena It just went in today - they messed up the first application that I sent in August so had to do another one, took about a week or so to get the letter back off them saying he was entitled to it all....that was 2/3 weeks ago, they've certainly taken their time. I must be a right mug cause I've been paying for his dinners/bus fares all this time - why didn't I think of giving him the £30 then getting it back off him lol :D  he borrowed off me when he wanted to go out etc etc.

Off to pick DD1 up from work soon and nip to Asda whilst I'm there...I'm really tired now....*big yawn*

laters lovelies! It's so nice to be joining in the lists again, it's like old times :D Bring on tomorows and I hope it's the bathroom it desperately needs doing. :o

G n B - keeps crashing for me too. Congrats on the Calculus score, on target for a first then?

Annoying sort of day, stuck on m way for hours earlier so I never did get to work, self employed stuff so wont be paid, and then struggled back via gridlocked city. Poor DH is still trying to get home, and he left at 4am. Bad day for the M1. Heart goes out to the families though - at least I just lost a few hours and some money.

WM on twice to sort out wet beds, have now made their beds, roll on bedtime. Must do DW, and WM/TD before bed.
