Most of the washing has dried and been put away, just got a few bits finishing off on the radiators. Should be able to put that away before work.

I think I might be coming down with a cold, my throat is feeling a bit funny :(

Done all I can on my list til DH comes home - I'm not tall enough to get into the attic til the loft ladder has been installed.

Emmmmmmmmmmm, what shall I do now? Think I'll prep the dinner - if I've got time after, I might have a go at making a few Xmas cards

Perhaps Christmas present/birthday present list update should be a task every now an again as I think most people on here buy a few bits (or a lot by the looks of my cupboard :rotfl: ) throughout the year. Could start it in January.

Hope you feel better soon lil_me

Just had parent interviews at school and had good reports for them both, so again I am very pleased with A & W. Will be off to swimming lesson for W in a wee while, Miss A is going to practise her laps in the big pool, we'll see if she can find the extra 4 seconds she needs so that she can get her silver badge. Can I have fingers corssed for her please.

Afternoon all, been out all day so only dalies done.

AnW'Mum - just want you to know that you are doing such a fab job of parenting A&W they just sound delightful. PS don't forget to pm your address to me.

Menolly hugs, sinus pain is vile. Steam really is good, either over a bowl, in the shower, in littlest room with a kettle boiling (lid off - take care). Friars Balsam if you can still get it works well.

Lil_me hugs and hope DS2 is better real soon

Pink - I'll pm you later re MBTs

Soappie - glad you're feeling better

    HHC 16:30-17:00 anyone?

  • Quick question - I bought a ready-cooked chicken the other day which said do not reheat but I slung the carcass into a stock pot afterwards to make some stock.

If I make some soup with this, am I likely to give us both food poisoning? If so, I better change what I'm making for tea!

Oooh, meant to say, saw your sig earlier toochoosey - don't be disheartened - I had that kind of week last week too (put on a lb)- we CAN do it!

Just spent ages deleting/crossing out my finished list and it lost it!

I've done mon/tue/wed lists anyway. Plus some extras of my own like mopping the floor in the living room and cleaning the settees....washing paintwork down all over the place that sort of thing. A big part of the lists were for decluttering/bin bag dances which don't really apply to me cause I fling everything, the only room that needs a good decluttering is the pc/spare room and I'll do that when it comes round...... so it wasn't hard to cross it all off.....:D

Teenie finally got his EMA today  not all of it was backdated though .....double   and he spent £80 of it on a new mobile phone...triple    I told him you always pay your debts first before anything else.....I'm waiting for my £63 he owes me....and DD1 wants summat too.

Littleys watching the tele, lolling about like her room's spotless  I'm thinking of giving the cloakroom toilets the once over skirts/windows/loo that sort of thing

Tea and then a hot bubble bath is on the cards for later. Noticed Martina Navratilova is doing I'm a celeb :j I've found my winner already...the woman is a legend.
