Questions for ipod nano owners

Options
Are these the ipods that had the screen problems?

If so, has the screen problem now been sorted?

What is the battery life like for the 2gb version?

thank you

I bought one in October and the screen is cracked
Silence is more musical than any song
  • What is the reason for this problem? Presumably they are no different to mobile phone screens?

What are the manufacturers saying about it now as I had heard they finally admitted to a 'small batch' of them being defective.
  • I'll move this over to the techie board................

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

An early batch had screen problems, but these have been solved. It's a good idea - as with any iPod - to buy a protector to prevent scratches.

Battery life is quoted at 14 hours. I'll have to wait until the missus unwraps hers to do empirical testing!

The screen problems were caused by a manufacturing defect, which Apple have now sorted. :)

The latest 2gb Nano (Dec 06) has a battery life of 24 hrs continuous play. The screen problems were with a previous generation.
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.
  • The latest Ipod Nano has excellent battery life!!
