No rude answers:snow_laug after a power cut as the comp was on, afterwards on a game where you go into favourites where it says server it now says the word bot all down the list and it stays there to.

In the context you're referring to, it means a Mutiplayer game server where the opponents are computer generated "bots" (robots) as opposed to real people.

on a side note, and possibly a boring one, you can get your own internet game bot, train him up in say internet poker, and he'll sit there all day playing your u and making the best descision based on millions of options, making you a small amount of income, (except all the money you spent showing it how to play).

kinda takes the fun out of it....
