The Great Cheap Drugs Hunt!

Tesco's Flu strength are just like the branded caps but at 1/3 the price.I don't know anywhere cheap.. just expensive..
Living in a city - especially near a university means that ibuprofen and paracetamol are always a fortune and/or sold out.
I'm dying of cold and need "cold capsules - decongestant and paracetamol based" but no where near me has any under about £4 a pack!!
Any ideas?

            Just to reiterate benh's post.........
Apologies for telling people what they already know
Paracetamol is an analgesic
Ibuprofen and aspirin are classed as NSAID (non-steroidal anti inflammatory)
They act differently, and have different side effects and contra-indications (reasons why you should not take them).
Make sure you know what you are taking and take it for the right reason.
Of course, this is off topic, sorry. :-/0 -
I thought there was a law limiting the amount of paracetamol you could buy at one time. I think to 32. How can your daughter buy 100 at one time.
you can buy huge packs from some members-only warehouse type stores.
I think you are also able to still buy big packs in Boots etc but they don't put them out on the shelves, you have to speak to the pharmacist and perhaps show a letter from your doctor or something. I asked about it a while ago when I was trying to figure if it would be cheaper to get stuff on prescription or OTC but they were kind of cluelessThey call me Mr Pig!0 -

If you are suffering forget about normal paracetamol etc - take sudafed. Magic tablets! There are a few different types and the price varies from store to store. The regular type in the red and white pack should cost about £1.50 ish. Boots sometimes do them for 99p as. I got some from savers for £1.29 earlier.
Just to let you know Boots are also doing selected cold medicines for 99p too.
