I phoned Southern Electric last week because our fixed price scheme ceases at the end of November and I wanted to get an idea of what the new prices would be.

The lady told me that effectively we would be looking at a 65% increase in the gas price and 40% in electricity because we have missed a few price increases during the year:eek:

I know there has been one whopping increase, but have there been that many since last December when we signed up for the price fix November 2008?

These are really scary figures.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time
