too much oil in engine

if i have a little bit more oil in the engine (just over max) will it do any damage?

A little high should not cause a problem. If it's a lot over (1" or so) would be best to drain some out.This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

well the distance between min and max is about 3cm, its about 2mm over max

But yes, too much oil causes pressure build up and can blow seals.0 -
