seller leaving feedback (ebay)

I recently sold an item for which the buyer never paid.
I opened a dispute, the buyer still did not respond and after 8 days ebay credited my fees and said the buyer would get an unpaid item strike.
Now, under the new rules, I can only leave positive feedback for this buyer!
What would you do?
a) will a carefully worded and polite description of what went on be acceptable?
b) leave no feedback at all?
c) is there another option?
I really will resent ticking the "positive" box! And other sellers should be warned.

I wouldn't bother giving them feedback, that strike will be enough. Why should you give them an extra positive result that no one will read in a month or so's time?
I do agree that not being able to convey a fair feedback to buyers is aload of b*****ks.0 -
don't leave any feedback.
you are not allowed to leave positive with a negative comment and why would you want to reward them with positive feedback anyway?0 -
Issuing a strike protects more sellers than leaving feedback. Buyer requirements can be set up to block those with strikes, but it never stopped those with negative feedback, unless it was -1 etc.
Many sellers list BIN only, so checking feedback is not possible until the item has sold, and given that buyer feedback is meaningless now, it's rare that most sellers would ever look at a buyers feedback.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Thanks all, I'll leave them and hope the strike will be seen.0
