Your not alllowed to use these on ANY public routes.

The only place you can use these is PRIVATE land. So unless you own a couple of acres or intend breaking the law then these are useless albeit a bit of fun until the novelty wears off.0

I think you are all taking this post to far, they are only battery powered so I don't think they will go very fast, unless you weigh about 3 stone.0

Thats rediculous and just goes to show how there are no guidelines as to what magistrates have to award for motoring offences. I got 6 points last year for doing 72mph in a deserted quiet safe 60mph zone. Fair enough I was speeding, but most people only get 3points for being so little over the speed limit.
As a comparison, the same magistrates last week only gave a 21 year old lad 6 points for driving & heavily crashing his mitsubishi evo in the town centre. He had no tax, no MOT and no insurance. He lost control, flipped the car a few times before nearly landing on top of another car.
Rediculous. Whats more dangerous, that or travelling slightly over the speed limit - or crossing the road on a mini moto?0

There are tons of different sorts of mini motos. Just cos it says mini moto on the box doesnt mean they are all the same. You can get some decent ones which you can tune up and they can easily hit 60mph. Those are the original ones on which most of these copy ones are based. But, the copy ones are really low powered, or even battery powered and are designed for kids. So you`ll be lucky to get above walking pace on them, if that!0

Only points? Looks like he was lucky not to get an ASBO!!!

Seriously, the Kays machine is only the 18v electric version. Top speed 8-10 mph. The problems have been with the petrol-driven one - which you can also get for £100! A tuned 49cc engine should top 50 mph!

The one The Digital Phone Shop (or whatever it's called) was giving away free with their contract phones had a top speed of 30mph.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

The Sheriff didn't even know what he was able to do and had to adjourn court to find out before giving the 6 penalty points. If I had known then what I know now . . .
