Hi,
Over the last year i have taken phone calls at work where the over enthusistic person on the other end butters you up like you are a long lost friend, they tell you that you helped them out with a survey and as a thank you they want to send a gift , this week happened to be a new premier league football shirt, in the past it has been crystal glasses.
The first time this happened they told me I had to have the gift delivered to my house and not work, alarm bells rang and i said no thanks.
Every time it happens now i tell them i am aware of their scam and they just slam the phone down.
My question to everyone is what is the scam? are they trying to blackmail me into buying goods because they sent a gift.
Thanks for any help given

Trying to get your address so that they can burgle your house when you are at work. Or maybe a debt collection service trying toi find out your home address because they think you owe money to someone."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
