Outlook .OST file

I am using outlook 2007 to connect to a MS exchange server. When I start Outlook, it prompts me to log in as normal, but then tells me that my .ost file is out of date and that I need to delete it. The problem is that I cannot find it, having looked in documents and settings/timothy/application data/microsoft/outlook, but there is no .ost file there, or elsewhere on the system for that matter, having searched for *.ost. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.

An .ost file is the cache for Exchange, it allows you offline access to your Outlook email and folders, delete the old file once you are sure you have a connection to Exchange, start Outlook and the Client/Server will re-sync.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Yes, I want to delete it but can't, because I can't find it.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

When you searched for *.ost did you tick the option to search hidden and system folders?0
