transfer balance to amex/american express

in Credit cards
I have about 6k to transfer and am considering transfering to a low lifetime balance credit card. Having seen that the lowest rates on offer are Amex or American express at 4.9, these look like good options. However, I just want to point out the following: American Express transfers balances with a fee of 2% or max £40. Also the T&C state that if you do not spend over £500 on the card in a year (not advisable if you are looking just to pay off the debt) there is a £15 annual fee. The same applies to amex though their annual fee is £20 if you don't spend and their BT fee is 2% or £50. I am still thinking what to do and ned to calculate the options. But bear in mind to always read the small prints!!! :santa2:
