Hi all (again)

I'm currently using Nero to burn DVDs from either avi or mpeg format. I also use it to burn music CDs for the car.
I don't think I'm using it to it's full potential and don't think I ever will.

Can anyone suggest something a little smaller (preferably free) to replace it which will do everything I can currently do?

CDBurnerXP. HOWEVER, if you've already got Nero, just use it.

Just trying to cut down on stuff on the hard-drive and I can't see the point in keeping a program I don't use to it's full potential

You can use Windows XP and WMP for simple CD burning functions.

Unless you're really short on space, simply having it installed has no performance implications.
