    That's cheep!

Is there any make that picks up the GPS quickly. I have been reading that some Sat Navs take up to 10 min; that would drive me crazy!

The Navigo running tomtom, finds satellites from cold within 60 secs, quicker from standby, This is a great little unit,
    Alan.

  • Check out one of these two sites for good deals. Cheap high Strret and TomTom Deals

Personally I'd go for one of the Cheap TomTom ONE that are flying around at the moment. It's a simple unit and will get you from A to B and then back from B to A

Can you direct these sat navs if you don't know the road name or post code.
I go to a lot of places in the countryside where I only know the point on the map.

Yes you can ask it to direct you to a point on the map of your choice. Alan.

    You got it.

It goes something like - MENU > NAVIGATE TO > POINT ON MAP > You choose the point on the map with the stylus (included)
