    use tesco vouchers to MOT/service both my honda accord and old rover 214 at Nationwide autocenters - neither failed in the last 3 years!

    It's a fairly regular ploy they use to get people through the door, so they fail unnecessary shocks, brakes and exhausts (you'll never get enything more complicated than that as they can fix anything else!). Avoid with the proverbial barge-pole ;)

    Probably because they found too much wrong that they couldnt fix, so it was easier to pass them ;)
