I have got this issue with not being able to download the Adobe flash player. I have tried a zillion things such as unistalling it, Java issues, settings etc, but no joy. I keep getting the adobe error 19166. This idicates registry problems.
I was looking at some of the REGcure programs and that, but I don't know which one to get and what will happen when I run it.
This is a fairly old windows based computer running XP. There is no doubt 5 years of junk on it, so it could use a good clean out. BUt I need to know how to restore my flash player.....
Any ideas would be useful
Cheers

Regcleaner is good for clearing the registry or ccleaner too.
This may be useful for the Flash problem:

Thanks. But that was the first thing I did. I am looking for some super computer whizz that might be able to talk me throught some slightly more in depth ideas.
The reg cure idea was only because the 19166 problem highlighted a possible registry permission issue, but I have no idea what that is.....NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
