This is how Xmas trees were hung hundreds of years ago - so its actually more 'traditional' than the tree you know! They were hung upside down from the ceiling beams.

Saw these in Waitrose last year- they would scare small children! I am sure last year they had them in black too!!
John Lewis have a black version in their catalogue! It is the most hideous xmas tree I have ever seen! I can't quite get my head round a black tree as it is, let alone an upside down black tree!! I mean, why would you? :undecided
Though, I can see how it would save space I suppose.
Perhaps it doesn't look so bad behind a table, with an arm chair one side, a wall the other side, and a bin liner over the top... :rotfl:0 -
