Sorry, folks, but I like them. If it means I can have a tree in my house, for the first time in 8 yrs, then it'll do for me!
Modern houses just don't have the space for a tree (unless I put it in the centre of the room & then I couldn't see the tv!) It is a perfect, space-saving answer.
After mourning the lack of decorations, I'd even considered buying one of those "half-trees" that you hang on the wall - they are even sadder! And I wondered how I would hang it, without making a mess of my magnolia wall!! So this item is perfect, small where there is restricted floor space & allows for presents round the base, then wider in the air, where it is less restricted in the room.
You can see why they're still selling them this year! Although, if I had the room, I'd definitely opt for a proper tree! But needs must!Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -
I think Trigger would buy oneFiliss0

I think they are nasty, I know they are for small rooms, but I would rather have a tall thin tree rather than one of those things  (saw some tall thin ones in Argos the other year) Each to their own though!
I bought a bargain 8ft tree 2 years ago from the Homebase Sale (reduced from about £100 to £10 :D)......... and it was too tall for our rooms!:o lol. we have moved house this year and our ceilings are taller than 8ft now :T Can't wait to put it up at last :xmastree:
