hotels near NIA birmingham

Hi, im going to Birmingham to watch colplay in the NIA and after a lot of searching for a hotel close by i have still not booked one.I cant afford a posh one as we are on a budget after having our second baby recently,and was wondering if anyone has had experience of a hotel thats if possible within walking distance to the NIA.
Any suggestions please!

hi, there are LOADS of cheap b&bs on the edgebaston road, which is probably about 15 mins walk from the NIA. the postcode for that part of town is B16 so if you type that into yell, you should be able to find somewhere.

why not get one of the cheap travellodge rooms and get the bus? buses run all times and frequent in brum.

- City Inn
- Premier Inn Brindley Place
are all within spitting distance and ought to be cheapish.

Also well within walking distance are the Hyatt, Jurys Inn and Copthorne but will be somewhat pricier.

If you can drop on a cheap room at Travelodge that would be your best bet i'd say. It's 5 mins walk tops.
