Fraud when abroad

Hi everyone, i was wondereing if anyone else has been affected by their credit card being used fraudulently when they were on holiday.

Over the past 3 years this has happened to me twice - the day after i flew out of the UK on hols, my credit card started to be used fraudulently - in the UK!

I've been racking my brains, wondering if and how the scumbags knew i was out of the country. the only link i can think of is i used my credit card to pay for airport hotels and parking?!

If anyone else has been affected i'd be intrigued to know - thanks.

Ive recently been a victim of debit card fraud, and im wondering if using my card in Europe maybe is the reason. I went in May tho and my card has only just been used fraudulently so dunno if thats too long really for it to be the cause?
