Word is not working Error messages !!

My word program is not working can I reinstall it (I have the disc) or should I uninstall it first or do a program repair??

maybe best to uninstall and then re-install...probably one of the files has got corrupted, so if you have the cd, you should be okay........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
