Outstanding fines

Basically in Jan 2008 i hired a car with Dollar at MCO and ended up getting $100+ in fines for not paying tolls.
I received a letter saying Dollar had paid the fines and i owed them the money. I ended up reading about about car hire firms ripping off customers for fines and never paid.

I have since been back to the states in;
March 2008 and hired from Dollar in San Francisco returning the car to Los Angeles.
August 2008 hiring from Dollar in Atlanta returning to Atlanta.
September 2008 hiring from Dollar in Reno returning to Los Angeles.

On none of the above occasions have i had any problems. I was called into the office in LAX recently to pay a charge. But when i got there it was a $4 tourism charge - no mention of my outstanding fines in FL.

Now, i am going to MCO in Jan and am wondering, if i hired with Dollar might i be presented with any problems? I ask because it will be the same office i hired from before and would they have any record of my fines?

I know its a very sketchy area and one most will not have encountered but any advice, opinions would be appreciated.

    Ah, but the fines technically weren't my fault since i assumed i had pre paid for a sun pass (or whatever its called) Needless to say if i have realised how inept the person serving me was id certainly have checked my paperwork somewhat more thoroughly.
