Make a paper mache piggy bank... write a christmas prezzie wish list... invite some friends round to save you being bored tomorrow. List a few things on e-bay. Do something you've been putting off for ages... change the sheets on your bed so you have some nice smelling crisp fresh ones.... write a letter

No hon, it's not just you.

After working hard to get my debt down, I was made redundant in September, and got turned down for a job yesterday. My birthday is next week, so am facing the reality of calling mates who keep asking about the party night to tell them it's postponed till next year!

My flatmate and I are both skint, so are spending the evening playing on his playstation, doing bits around the flat and talking about pointless things like who was the funniest Python.

I'm going to follow the gallery/museum advice myself, and look at what courses are subsidised for those on benefits/low income.

I hope you feel brighter soon.... plenty more Saturday nights out there, and you'll be enjoying it more knowing the money is yours to spend!
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

  • So badly know the feeling!

There's only so much beating a man called Fabien from Bordeaux is on Mario Kart over the international Wi-Fi connection! :j

I'm bored off my arris, and can't do anything until I have about 2/3 weeks pay sorted which is the end of the month, which then goes on rent... :rotfl:

If I didn't laugh, I would cry in this amount of self pity...
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!
  • Top answers from all! Cheers.

Bought an Al Pacino boxset about 6 months ago and never got round to it all.

Just watched Carleto's Way, Scent of a Woman and Sea of Love (more macho than they sound!)

Will start from the top of this thread for tommorow nights entertainment and work my way down!

Quite pleased I haven't spent anything though, If i'd have gone on the lash i'd be into 3 figures by now.
