Hi
I am not really sure which bank would be best to keep my savings in.
Any recommendations please.
Thankyou:money:

Suggest you read some of the threads round here where other people have posted links etc. Which account is best for you will depend on things like: how much you have to save, is it one-off or so much per month, whether you can lock it away for a year or more to make higher interest etc.
And be aware that rates on offer are dropping at present, so some info will be changing each day.0 -
I will be investing around £150.00 each month.
Need to know somewere that it wl be safe etc.0 -
Read the following for advice on who's "safe" - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/safe-savings
1. Generally ISA's are a good place to start:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/sav...gs-without-tax
and http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....html?t=401374
2. Regular savings accounts are good too:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/sav...vings-accounts
and http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....html?t=608697
Regular savings accounts are generally a good place for new money e.g. monthly pay cheques, however if for example you have £3k in a 6% high-interest bank account drip-feeding into a 10% regular savings account then you're essentially getting 8% interest on average for your £3k which beats most fixed rate products - albeit with a bit more work.
3. Fixed rate savings won't apply to you so the only other thing to consider would be a decent instant access savings account:
