How do I reduce the number of programmes my computer is using when I start up as currently it is taking ages to get fully running? & any other tips to speed up?

the quickest way to control what you want in startup is as follows..
START >RUN > MSCONFIG.
click on the STARTUP tab.. UN-CHECK to remove from startup - then closeYour tax bill is the penalty you pay for not helping the right candidates get into office.:D0 -

RAM 512mb think I need some more? Pentium 4 2.66. Computer about 4-5 yrs old but other wise working well with plenty of hard disk space still free.0
