The Lion King in London

Hi
We are going for a short break to London in December and would really like to see The Lion King at the matinee show on 3rd December.
I have had a look online and can't seem to see any cheap tickets or any "meal deals".
There was one "meal deal" on last minute.com which finishes on 28th November.
Does anyone know if we would be better just paying the full price for the tickets or are we better waiting until we arrive in London and try and get tickets on the day from the theatre or does anyone know of any better deals we would be able to get (looking for 2 tickets)

There are usually tickets available on the day at one of the many ticket sale places. But you get no choice in where you sit. It's the first tickets off a pile. Some people are lucky, but some end up right up the back with a bad view. They're usually pretty cheap though.
As for meals, there are plenty of places to eat so you shouldn't have too much a problem finding somewhere cheap.0 -
I suggest you try https://www.seetickets.com they may have tickets for the time you want.
Compare their prices with others before you make your selection.
You may be best not booking the ticket and meal combination as I understand the drinks prices can be prohibiive.with the meals
A friend of mine just told me tonight that it is a fabulous show!
Enjoy it!Filiss0 -
I bought theatre tickets (not Lion King) through www.westendtheatre.com and was very satisfied with the service and the reduction I received. The tickets were sent by return of post and the seats were good. They offer dinner & theatre packages as well but I personally don't know how good they are, although I haven't heard of any complaints. Hope this helps and you get the seats you want.Age & Treachery Will Always Overcome Youth & Enthusiasm !!
